Our Denver color menu

Root retouch, from $84. A touch-up of the new growth at your natural part and hairline. This is the appointment you’re on if you get color every four to eight weeks.

All-over color, from $97. A single-process color from root to ends. Best when you want to change your base shade or cover gray from top to bottom.

Retouch with dimension, from $194. A root retouch paired with a few strategically placed highlights or lowlights to keep your color from going flat between full highlight visits.

Partial highlights, from $140 (maintenance) or $154 (virgin). Highlights placed on the top and around the face. A good choice for keeping brightness where the sun would naturally hit.

Full highlights, from $154 (maintenance) or $167 (virgin). Highlights placed throughout the whole head for even brightness front to back.

Dimensional color: foilyage, baby lights, teasy lights, root shadow, each from $167. Different techniques for softer, blended, or lower-maintenance results. Your colorist will pick the right one for your hair and goal at your consultation.

Balayage, from $194. Hand-painted lightening for that lived-in, grown-out blonde look. We cover balayage in more depth on our Denver balayage page, including which of our Denver salons runs our strongest blonding team.

Modern blonding. For big-picture blonding goals that combine balayage, foilyage, and teasy lights over multiple sessions. Priced by consultation.

Gray blending. If you’re not ready to commit to covering gray but want to soften the line, ask about gray blending. It’s a low-maintenance route that uses dimensional color to weave gray into the rest of your hair.

Color correction. For anything that needs fixing first, whether that’s box color, a bad appointment somewhere else, brassy tone, or a big change from dark to light. Priced by consultation because every correction is different. If you’re coming in for a correction, book a consult first so we can see your hair, plan the process, and give you a realistic quote.

Creative and transformational color. Fashion shades, big departures from your natural, and multi-session projects. Priced by consultation.

Tone, glaze, and gloss. A shine refresh between color visits, or a tone reset if brass or ash has crept in. Priced by consultation.

Every color appointment finishes with a shampoo and blow-dry using Kérastase or R+Co, so you walk out with something you can restyle yourself at home. For our brand-wide color menu see color services.

The colorist you book matters

Denver has a lot of hair salons, and color especially is a place where technique and honesty separate a good appointment from a bad one. Two things we do on every color appointment, regardless of location:

We talk first. If you brought a reference photo, we’ll tell you what’s realistic for your hair, how many sessions it’ll take to get there, and what the upkeep looks like once you do. If your hair can’t hold what you’re asking for, we’d rather tell you before we mix color.

We think about your last appointment too. If you’re new to us, we ask what’s been done to your hair in the past year, because that history shapes what we can safely do today. If you’ve had box color, keratin, or a big lightening job somewhere else, tell us. It matters.

Also: color is only half the job. The finish is the other half. Our teams work with Kérastase and R+Co because those are the products that help color hold longer at home. Ask your stylist for a routine when you check out.

FAQ

Starting prices: root retouch from $84, all-over color from $97, partial highlights from $140, full highlights from $154, balayage from $194. Retouch with dimension is from $194. Tone, glaze, gloss, gray blending, color correction, and creative color are priced by consultation because they depend on your hair. Prices scale with your colorist’s experience tier.

Both. For full coverage we do a root retouch or an all-over color depending on where the gray sits. For a lower-maintenance route, gray blending uses highlights, lowlights, and toning to weave the gray in.

Color correction is the label for any color service that has to fix something first before it can deliver a new result. Box color that needs to come out, brassy highlights that need re-toning, or a jump from dark to light are all corrections. If you’re not sure whether you need one, book a consult and we’ll tell you honestly.

Every four to eight weeks for most people, depending on how fast your hair grows and how much contrast you have between your natural color and your color result. Your colorist will give you a personal cadence at your first visit.

Yes, at all four Denver salons, starting from $194. Our strongest balayage team is at Wash Park. See our full Denver balayage page for technique, upkeep, and a location breakdown.

Whichever one is closest to home or work is generally what most clients choose, but all of our salons offer the same services with the same guiding principles.
