Our Story – About The Parlour Washington Park
Washington Park is one of Denver’s most established neighborhoods. It’s the kind of place where people put down roots and stay. The Parlour on Alameda Avenue was built for that community: residents who’ve been coming to the same salon for years, and who expect the team to know their hair the way a good professional should.
Partners, Julie Mustoffa and Stacey Joyce, had been friends and co-workers for many years at The Parlour LoDo. Working at The Parlour opened a door into a partnership salon in the Washington Park neighborhood, where they both have raised families. Julie is original team member, dating back to 1989 when The Parlour first opened.
The Wash Park location sits on East Alameda Avenue, a few blocks from the park’s edge. It’s accessible, unhurried, and with morning hours (8am Wednesday through Saturday) that work for the early-rising, active neighborhood it serves.
The team here is experienced and consistent. The work covers cuts, color, balayage, extensions, curly hair, and makeup — everything the neighborhood needs, delivered with pretension or ego. That’s been the Parlour way since 1989, and it fits Washington Park particularly well.
