About Me

Hometown: Glenwood Springs Colorado

When I started doing hair: 2002

When I started at The Parlour: 2003

What inspires/motivates me in the industry:

The thing that inspires me most about this industry is that get to use tid bits of everyday inspiration from the real world and incorporate it into my craft. For example, while on vacation in Hawaii I noticed the beautiful “totally natural” hair color of many of the women. At the time, in hair color, it was looked at as “faded” or “weathered”, now it’s ombre and everybody wants it! I love it when this happens, high fashion is influenced by everyday life.

What I am happiest doing:

I am at my best when I am hanging out with my children. They are the funniest and most exciting people I know!

Additional industry involvement:

I am currently on the education team and love it. I hope they learn as much from me as I do them.

I have attended classes from Vidal Sassoon, Wella, Sebastian, American Crew, Toni and Guy, A.G., Unite and L’Oreal. Not to mention countless demos from all of the world-class stylists that I am fortunate and honored to work with.

What I love most about The Parlour:

When I go to work, I feel as if I am going to hang out with friends in a productive, comfortable, fun, and enriching environment. How many people can say that?

What else you should know about me:

I’m a cancer, I’m annoyingly funny, country music and myself are like oil and water, and if I could find a spider monkey on the black market I might have to buy him! jk , not really.

Sean is our Peter Pan, black socks and tennis shoes on a skateboard. But don’t let him fool you, he’s a great dad and takes care of more clients than anyone at The Parlour.
