Hair Extensions in RiNo, Denver
Most people who book an extensions consultation at our RiNo salon are looking for one of two things: more length, or more density through the mid-shaft and ends. Sometimes both. We’re on Blake Street in the River North Art District, and we install four methods here: tape-in, hand-tied, clip-in, and fusion, including K-tips and Bello Haven extensions.

The four methods we offer
There’s no single best method. The right one depends on your natural hair, how much length or density you want, your budget, and how much maintenance you want to take on.
Hand-tied extensions. A row of hair hand-tied to a beaded track at your root. They lay flat to the scalp, sit nicely under fine hair, and are popular with clients who want subtle density and length without a lot of visible installation.
Tape-in extensions. Pre-taped panels sandwiched onto small sections of your own hair. Faster to install than hand-tied, generally less expensive up front, and a good first-extensions experience for a lot of clients. Reapplied on a regular schedule we’ll set with you.
K-tips (a featured brand we carry). Small individual bonds attached strand by strand using keratin tips. K-tips lay very naturally, blend exceptionally well on fine or layered hair, and can be styled the same as your own hair. Installation is slower because each bond is individual.
Fusion extensions. Individual strands attached with a keratin bond using a heat tool. Long-wearing, lightweight, and customizable. Often the right call when you want individual movement at the ends rather than a row across the back.
Clip-ins. Custom color-matched extensions you clip in yourself for the day or the event. No salon install required after the initial color-match, which is useful if you want length for specific moments without committing.
We carry K-tips and Bello Haven as our featured brands. Both give us hair we trust to color-match and to wear well between appointments when cared for properly.
Why this is a consultation
Two reasons. First, price depends on how many bundles or strands you actually need, which depends on the density you want and your natural hair. Second, the method that’s right for you isn’t obvious from a photo. Fine hair, oily roots, an active gym schedule, a tight ponytail you wear every day at work, all of that changes which method we’d recommend. We’d rather get this right at the consult than sell you the wrong thing.
A consult also gives us time to color-match your hair to the extension hair before your install appointment, which matters more than people think.
Color-matching and combining with color services
If you’re already a color client and adding length, we’ll coordinate the install with your color schedule. Sometimes we color your natural hair first; sometimes we match the extensions to a color we already know you wear; sometimes we tone the extensions before install. We finish with Kérastase, Wella, and R+Co at home. Extensions need the right shampoo and conditioner to hold tone and condition; we’ll send you out with honest product picks instead of a long list.
Damage and upkeep
Any extension method puts something on top of, or attached to, your existing hair. Damage isn’t automatic, but it does correlate with how the extensions are installed, how they’re cared for at home, and how often they’re maintained. The vast majority of extension damage we see in correction appointments comes from extensions that were left in too long, weren’t moved up on schedule, or weren’t cared for properly between visits.
What we will commit to: at your consult we’ll be honest about whether your hair is in a place to wear extensions right now, which method puts the least stress on it given your situation, and what the upkeep schedule looks like for that method. If we don’t think extensions are a good idea for you yet, we’ll say so. Our team installs to the method’s standard, gives you a home-care plan, and books your maintenance schedule before you leave.
The stylists installing your extensions
Every stylist at The Parlour finishes our Advanced Education Program: 6 to 12 months of in-house training plus two annual events with world-renowned guest artists. After that, stylists start at Level 1 and grow into higher levels as their clientele builds. The standard we hold every stylist to is the same, regardless of who you book.

Everyone. All gender identities, all hair types, all backgrounds. Whether you want a full head of hand-tied for density, a few K-tips for length around the face, or clip-ins for a specific event, you can book here without pre-explaining yourself.

Book online or call (720) 575-9870. We’re at 3040 Blake St, Suite 141 in the River North Art District, Denver. The consult and the install are separate appointments because we usually need to order matched hair after meeting you.

Maintenance cadence varies by method and by how your hair grows. We set your specific schedule at the consultation and book your follow-up before you leave so the install stays comfortable and healthy.
