Things to Know
The Parlour West Washington Park is located in the old Twist & Shout record store in Denver, Colorado.
Partners, Julie Mustoffa and Stacey Joyce, had been friends and co-workers for many years at The Parlour LoDo. Working at The Parlour opened a door into a partnership salon in the Washington Park neighborhood, where they both have raised families. Julie began working at The Parlour Boulder when it opened in 1989.
The decor for the salon was inspired by a trip to Tattered Cover, searching through home decor magazines. A feature on French Flat jumped out at Julie and Stacey and that lead to the white-on-white design with accents of crown molding you’ll find in this salon. Everything from the front desk to the floating staircase was reinterpreted from items found in this magazine. Serendipitous!
The wood floors are reclaimed 100-year-old maple from Asbury Elementary school gymnasium.
Parking
Free street parking is available in the West Wash Park area near the salon with 2-hour limits. We also have a small, shared parking lot available with limited parking.
